Contact

Anything about a live call goes through the in-call report. Everything else goes to one address, read by a person.

Something happening in a call, right now

Use the report control on the call screen, not email. It captures a still frame and sends it with your message, and that evidence is what makes the report actionable — an email describing a call that ended twenty minutes ago gives a moderator nothing to look at.

Reports reach a human within 24 hours. Block is separate and immediate; use it first and report second.

If someone is in immediate physical danger, contact your local emergency services. We are a website — we cannot reach anyone faster than they can.

Everything else

One address, read by a person: [email protected].

Subject lines that get pulled out of the ordinary queue:

URGENT
A minor on the service, or anything else that cannot wait.
NON-CONSENSUAL
Someone recorded you without your agreement.
COPYRIGHT
A takedown request. See the copyright page for what to include.
COUNTER-NOTICE
Your material was removed and you think that was wrong.
PRIVACY
A request about data we hold, or to have something deleted.
APPEAL
A moderation decision about you that you want reviewed.

What to include

Because there is no account required to use this service, there is often nothing on our side to look you up by. The more of the following you can give, the more likely it is that something can actually be done:

  • Roughly when it happened, including your time zone.
  • Anything identifying the session — a username if one was shown, what you were doing at the time.
  • What you want to happen, stated plainly. It is easier to act on a clear request than to infer one.

Do not attach screenshots of anything involving a minor. Possessing that material is a crime in most places, including when you are trying to help. Report it in the call instead.

What to expect back

A reply from a person. If a request cannot be granted you will be told why, and if something is missing you will be told which part rather than met with silence.

We do not publish a response-time promise for email, because a number nobody measures is worse than no number. The 24-hour figure quoted elsewhere on this site is specifically about in-call reports reaching a moderator, and it is not a claim about this inbox.
